The Council's work has focused, for example, on the following topics

• Agreement on good employment conditions for university staff
• Guidelines for good employment conditions for early career researchers at the University of Cologne
• Organization of career paths for early career researchers within the university
• Guidelines on permanent employment opportunities for academic and artistic staff at the University of Cologne
• Regulations on quality assurance in tenure track procedures and other evaluation procedures for fixed-term (junior) professorships at the University of Cologne
